Interview Summary: After homebrewing during college, Zachary “ZZ” Lazarine broke into the industry at Adelbert’s Brewery as front of the house staff and followed Oddwood Brewing’s founder to his new venture, signing on as the assistant brewer. In this interview he speaks to the shifting preferences in beer, the tight knit community found in craftbrewing, and how a novice can get into the industry. He also touches on Hilltops, St. Edward’s annual beer event, as well as how beer technology has developed in the last decade.
