Upcoming Concerts

There are several performances coming up during the next month. You can now reserve seats for the concerts at Ludus. Dates, times and links for livestreams are below.

Thursday, January 15, 4:45 – 8:30 pm; Solo and Ensemble (Wind Ensemble and Concert Band)

Monday, January 26, 6:30 pm – Wind Ensemble and Concert Band

Tuesday, February 3, 5:15 pm – 5th-Grade and 6th-Grade Bands

Tuesday, February 3, 6:30 pm – Symphonic Band and Jazz Band II

Pep Band

Students in 7th grade and up can sign up in the band room for basketball Pep Band. Our remaining dates are January 9, January 23, and February 20. Parents are welcome to play, too!

Last, our clarinet/sax teacher, Matty Harris, has some availability for lessons after school on Wednesdays at 4:50. Please contact him (hattymarris@gmail.com) if you’re interested in private lessons for your child.

Hello, band parents and students.

There are a few opportunities for the Pep Band at basketball games over the next few months. Both students and parents are welcome to play! We typically meet about an hour prior to the game for a brief rehearsal, and then we play pre-game, timeouts, and at halftime. We play out of a pre-assembled binder—the more often you come, the more of it you learn.

Students may sign up in the band room. Parents can email me or ask their student to sign you up. When students sign up and participate, they do not have to complete the playing assignment for that week.

This year’s dates are:

December 19 (6:00 pm call, 7:00 pm game)

January 9 (6:30 pm call, 7:30 pm game)

January 23 (6:30 pm call, 7:30 pm game)

February 20 (6:30 pm call, 7:30 pm game)
