The day starts with a settling activity or a chance for children to respond to marked work.
In the morning the children will always have English and Maths.
Alongside this they are taught their foundation subjects, making links across topics wherever possible.
Music, French and one PE lesson are taught by specialist teachers.
Homework tasks may be set on Google Classroom and parents are notified of the homework on Class Dojo if it is set this way.
Hard copies of homework will be printed and the children will put them in their homework folders.
Homework is sent out as follows:
English / Topic homework
Set on Monday - hand in on Thursday (4 days to complete).
Maths homework
Set on Thursday - hand in on Monday (4 days to complete).
Reading Records
Collected in every Monday.
We expect to see 5 entries with a minimum of 1 comment, written by the children, every week.
Spellings are sent out at the beginning of each half term.
Children will have 10 spellings to learn for each week.
Children will be tested on a Thursday morning.

St Angela's class perform the Nativity to St Raphael's.
