• Humanities:

  • Specialist Geography teacher; Edexcel A Level, Edexcel GCSE, KS3 Curriculum, Subject specific pedagogy, planning and delivering fieldwork.

  • Humanities; Former head of faculty for humanities including teaching to GCSE, curriculum design and development and assessment for history, citizenship and Religious Education.

• Early Career Teachers:

  • Extensive experience of mentoring and coaching trainee teachers, newly qualified teachers and recently qualified teachers.

• Teaching and Learning

  • Delivering teacher led CPD, founding member of local networks to support teaching and learning and assessment. Areas of specialism: decolonising the curriculum, subject specific pedagogy, enquiry based learning, metacognition and recall and retrieval.
