• Social Sciences:

  • Lead, manage and develop a successful Social Science department with the implementation of GCSE Psychology, targeted curriculum development at GCSE and A level, effective teaching and learning strategies, training and monitoring of professional development, assessment and moderation for OCR and AQA examinations, extra- curricular provision, and the distribution of extensive resources.

• Pastoral:

  • Manage and support form tutors and a cohort of students, monitor staff and student well-being via one-to-one support, promote pupil voice and student engagement with school events and extra-curricular activities, liaise with Heads of Department and Senior Leaders to review the quality of learning, support the sixth form students through the UCAS process and maintain clear lines of communication with key stakeholders
