Agnus Dei Catholic School Alliance

Welcome

The Agnus Dei Catholic School Alliance is the legacy network formed from the Agnus Dei Teaching School Alliance which formally ceased in Summer 2021.

The Alliance was formed in February 2016 with Catholic secondary schools from Brentwood, Southwark and Westminster Dioceses. During the 5 years the Alliance ran many different courses including nearly 150 completing middle leadership courses, over 80 people completing senior leadership courses and around 60 people completing headship courses. We have also trained SLEs, hosted GCSE and A Level RS courses, SEND and SEMH training, run retreats for those new to Catholic Education and welcomed international Catholic education speaker Jonathan Doyle from Australia for a rare UK training day.

We have also trained 24 teachers through our School Direct Tuition Fee route into teaching and hosted 'Learn to Teach in a Catholic School' and 'Moving Into Catholic Education' retreat days.

Despite funding ending from the DfE for our former Alliance, we want to continue our work for the Common Good of Catholic Education.
