The Colorado Centers of Excellence in Newcomer Health aims to create a multi-site newcomer health data repository by collaborating with clinics, institutions, and state public health agencies to protect public health and improve the health of newcomers.
Partners have the opportunity to join a multitude of projects that continue to push newcomer health forward. The CO-COE pools screening data from multiple sites to compare and contrast health trends across the nation. Partners can determine the incidence, prevalence, and treatment of disease within the newcomer population while serving as resources to inform clinical and public health guideline development, public health program development, and education efforts.
