The Project Delivery Plan (PDP) record provides a checklist of records that must be completed in order to populate a project's PDP, in addition to a workflow for staff to comment on and endorse the plan. The PDP is required for all CDOT engineering capital construction projects.

To request additional training or documentation, please submit a Help Request in PMWeb.
Select your Project from the drop-down list to relate this PDP to the project. A Subject is required as well.
Select YES here to route the PDP to the project's Program Engineer for review and approval through Workflow.
Select YES here to route the PDP to RTD for review and approval through Workflow.
Click Save to save and relate your new PDP record to your project.
As project phases are completed, use the provided checkboxes to mark them complete in your PDP record.
Underlined text here is a direct link to your Manager Page for these records.
Add PDP Development comments as needed.
IF your PDP is already completed outside of PMWeb, select this checkbox and enter comments as needed.
Attach the external PDP using the Attachments tab once the record is saved.
When a PDP Waiver is requested, select this checkbox and complete the Waiver Request fields to submit this request for review and approval through Workflow.
PDP reports are available by clicking this chevron, and then clicking BI Reporting.
Once you successfully save your Project Delivery Plan record with the Save icon on the record header, you are presented with additional data tabs in the record, including a Workflow tab which allows you to submit the record for approval.
NOTES: Your Notes tab allows you to customize your PDP sections, when using the in-system PDP.
ATTACHMENTS: When submitting an external PDP record, you'll use the Attachments tab to include your external PDP document or link.
WORKFLOW: You'll use the Workflow tab to submit your PDP record for review and approval, based on your selections in the Main PDP tab.
NOTIFICATION: Your Notification tab allows you to notify stakeholders of updates to the PDP.
The Project Delivery Plan report is available in "BI Reporting".
When submitting your PDP to Workflow for review and approval, there are pre-determined workflow paths, based on the selections you made in your PDP record.
Note: Depending on the Workflow options selected in the PDP, PMs may be required to request Team Input from applicable Specialty groups, including Environmental, Traffic, Structures, Materials, Right-of-way, Roadway Design, Utilities, Communications, Construction Project Engineer, Drainage, Survey and/or FHWA.
Within the Team Input pop-up window, use the Request Team Input drop-down menu to select team members from which to request input for the PDP.
Select the Permissions you'd like to give your team for the record by clicking each checkbox.
Add a contextual message regarding the input being requested.
Click the "Save and Exit" icon to submit your request for Team Input.
1. Program Engineer Review Required?
If you selected "Yes":
Request Team Input from the applicable Specialty groups and gather responses.
Once Team Input responses are gathered and incorporated, approve the PDP for Resident Engineer review.
After earning the Resident Engineer's endorsement, the PDP is sent to the Program Engineer for final approval.
Program Engineer and RTD review options can be used concurrently.
2. RTD Review Required?
If you selected "Yes":
Request Team Input from the applicable Specialty groups and gather responses.
Once Team Input responses are gathered and incorporated, approve the PDP for Resident Engineer review.
After earning the Resident Engineer's endorsement, the PDP is sent to the RTD for final approval.
Program Engineer and RTD review options can be used concurrently.
3. PDP Previously Completed
Click this checkbox when you are managing your PDP outside of the PMWeb ecosystem.
You can attach your external PDP, or a link to access it, using the Attachments tab.
PMWeb will auto approve the record once submitted to workflow.
4. Waiver Requested
When this checkbox is selected, your PDP Waiver Request is submitted to the Program Engineer for review and final approval during Workflow.
You do not need to request Specialty Team Input if you are requesting a PDP Waiver.
5. Resident Engineer only
If none of the 4 workflow options described above are selected:
Request Team Input from the applicable Specialty groups and gather responses.
Once Team Input responses are gathered and incorporated, approve the PDP for Resident Engineer review.
The PDP is sent to the Resident Engineer for Final Approval.
