The Funding Record process in PMWeb serves to standardize and streamline the way fund sources and subsequent changes are tracked. This record is only used by Business Managers and Asset Managers.
Access: This record is located in the Costs module of PMWeb.

In the Main tab, users fill out the following fields:
Funding By: Select "Region" in the bubble list then select your region from the drop-down list.
Source: Choose the source of funds from the predefined drop-down list, for example, SUR for Surface Treatments.
Description: Enter a description for the record.
Category: Choose Participating or Non-Participating from the drop-down list.
In the Main tab table, users may need to fill out the following fields:
Year: The Fiscal Year to which you are adding funds.
Fund Type: Auto populates based on the "Source" previously selected.
Planning Allocation: Auto calculates based on amounts entered in “Add FY Funds” & “Deduct FY Funds”.
Add FY Funds: The amount allocated to the fund source for the fiscal year. The Planning Allocation field will be updated with the amount entered in this field. Use this field to enter the original funding amount for the year and to make any necessary increases to the funding amount for the given year.
Deduct FY Funds: The amount deducted from the fund source for the fiscal year. The Planning Allocation will be updated with the amount entered in this field. Use this field to decrease the funding amount for the given year (Do not use negative numbers).
Region Priority: Ensures the priority of funds allocated to the region that aligns with stakeholder goals.
Changes: Text field to capture a summary of change.
Notes: Provide notes related to the amounts entered.
Participation: Drop-down list to identify whether funding is provided entirely by the state (non-participating) or if Federal funds are being contributed (participating).
The Funding Pool Change Log and Region Pool Funding reports are available for this record in "BI Reporting".
