Coaching Communities of Practice

A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group of people who share a common concern, a set of problems, or an interest in a topic and who come together to fulfill both individual and group goals. Communities of practice often focus on sharing best practices and creating new knowledge to advance a domain of professional practice. Interaction on an ongoing basis is an important part of this.

Fishbowl

Fishbowls are chances for professional growth. They focus on sharing goals, gaining knowledge, and connecting with others.

• Reflective Consultation: June 16, 12:30 - 2:00 pm

• Coaching Sessions: September 22, 12:30 - 2:00 pm

• Open Forum: December 15, 12:30 - 2:00 pm

Directors

This CoP is open to and director or adminstrator who is also a coach.

• Who can join: Open to any Director or Administrator who is also a Coach.

• Start Date: May 21, 2026

• When it meets: Continues the 3rd Thursday of each month (12:30-2:00 p.m.) 

Build Belonging

This series focuses on creating a sense of belonging as a coach. To receive credit for the series, participants must attend 75% of the meetings.

• Who can join: Open to credentialed coaches across the state.

• Start Date: April 30, 2026

• When it meets: Continues the 4th Thursday of each month (1:00-2:30 p.m.) 

Creating Connections (1st Tuesdays 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.)

Our Community of Practice is a reflective space for making connections and fueling growth, as we reflect and learn together. We welcome coaches and those interested in coaching from all backgrounds and levels of experience. 

Building Our Foundation (2nd Wednesdays 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)

Create a firm foundation for your coaching practice through reflection on our shared learning. We are here to engage emerging and current coaches from every background and level of experience.
