OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (OIT) REQUIRED SECURITY TRAINING FOR STATE CONTRACTORS

UPDATE

Effective March 14, 2025, consultant/contractors/vendors will begin receiving training requests directly to their email inbox. This new monthly method allows for a more focused learning environment, emphasizing quality over quantity and reinforcing key concepts over time. Moving forward, contractors and vendors will be sent one email per month informing them of the required monthly Security Awareness Training.  

*********If a contractor does not work on a regular basis throughout the year, the training will queue, and the contractor will receive email reminders and potentially past-due notifications during the months they are not engaged. The contractor can ignore the messages during the non-working months and complete the training during their working months.**********
