A pitch deck is a set of slides which you could use as a tool to better guide you to present your idea in front of the investors or the evaluators. Each slide should be simple and minimal, but should convey the content.
NOTE: Don't let the pitch deck speak. But instead, it should be used to better convey what you are saying during the pitch.
Idea Fest is all about learning through experiencing. One skill that every entrepreneur should master is that of doing presentations which helps you better convey your idea. This is the cover slide. It should convey your project name as title. A one line description of the idea should be added as a sub-title.
This is the team information slide. Information about the team including the team-members name and department. Also, the mentors details should also be added. Don't forget to mention the name of your campus.
On this slide, give a short description of your project/idea with the problem statement of the Idea. Use minimum number of words in the slides but be informative.
On this slide, describe how your system works, in points. Give more attention to emphasise the unique features of your system.
On this slide, prepare a timeline of what you are going to achieve in the upcoming days. Make an infographic and add it in here.
A detailed work plan is a well structured plan of what you and your team are going to do during each week. It might not be precise but approximate values will work.
Study about the competitors for your idea/project and list them here. Also, list the points on how or why your project is dominant to the existing system.
No system is ideal. List down the main advantages and the disadvantages of your system/idea/project. Ensure to emphasise the most important points.
A fund breakup is a table listing down the fund requirement for each purpose. ie, it should include details like the item you need, the quantity of the item and the total cost for purchasing that item. Don't show unnecessary fund requirements. Be genuine here.
