Idea Fest’19 Finals
Kerala startup mission organised the second edition of the IDEA FEST'19 in the month of June 2019. The idea fest works towards promoting an ecosystem of product culture. As an exclusive opportunity for college students,Idea fest brings about a cultural transformation.
This Idea Fest included the problem statement put forward by the corporate leads such as EY, Resnova, UST Global, NISH & Reap benefit. The problem statements were in cyber security, assistive technology & green technology Sectors. Selected candidates will also get an opportunity to internship with the firms and work on their projects. Idea Fest provides students an opportunity to present their ideas or college projects, which can be converted to a practical real world solution, in front of an elite panel and the teams which are shortlisted by the panel are offered grants based on the development stage and innovative value of their ideas
Idea Fest 2019 Finals were conducted at two locations, Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, Trivandrum on 22nd June 2019 and at Albertian Institute of Science and Technology, Ernakulam on 25th June 2019. Around 160 students were shortlisted from a pool of 1700 applications and they pitched their ideas in front of the Judges.
