Problem statement

Automatically find the exact calories in the food consumed.

Current methods of identifying calories in food include image analysis to identify the food item and then comparing it to a central database to find out the contents in a referral item. But this kind of analysis is based on approximation. We are looking at a better method, using PPG sensor or similar methods and should be accurate than existing methods.

Eligibility criteria

Accuracy of the solution should be better than those already known in prior-art.

Rewards

50000 INR if the solution is proven to be better than those in market. Accuracy can be verified once the PoC is developed.

NB: The students / teams who gets shortlisted for these challenge gets a direct entry to the Idea Fest finals and stand a chance to win the grant up-to 7 lakhs depending on the stage of their project / idea development. The number of teams per challenge which gets selected will be decided during the final stage of the event
