This form is required for members with any prescription that needs to be administered during program hours. Update as prescription renews - we need a copy of original Rx or pharmacy label. Contents should be in original packaging.

Welcome!

The Family Support Network is comprised of parents, guardians, and family members. Our mission is to serve as a support network to each other and to serve as a liaison to the STG Staff. We also hope to provide mentorship, friendship, and information to local families supporting people with disabilities. It takes a village.... so that makes us "THE VILLAGE PEOPLE!"

BUT IT DOES NOT EXIST WITHOUT YOU!!

Volunteers are needed to build this cooperative group. Please consider volunteering your time, or connecting us with excellent volunteers. If you can contribute your time to this very important purpose - email us at info@starthrowergroup.com

Some of our goals include:

Develop ideas for monthly social "parent-only" gatherings (STG can help provide respite/services for parents' night out events)
Run monthly/quarterly meetings. Meeting agenda includes:
- informing families of STG updates and upcoming local events
- keeping families up to date on volunteer and social opportunities
- discussing value added topics, which includes having guest speakers
- fundraising for STG - we need ideas and help!!!
- providing feedback/suggestions to staff for new ideas and resources
Maintain a clear calendar for family participation
Create a new member welcome team for families
Networking and resource sharing
