All competitors must be in full time education and the name of the school mentioned on the application form. We encourage competitors who are prepared by private teachers to enter, however, please ensure that the students’ place of full time education is mentioned on the form.
All competitors are expected to be supervised by a teacher or responsible adult throughout the event.
Please ensure that the class entered is the current ability of the performer.
Students may enter more than one category but must put down each as a separate entry. In the case of multiple entries, a separate fee is payable for each entry.
If there are less than 4 entries in any level, the organisers reserve the right to merge them with another class. This may result in a change of day for the competitors.
Students may choose a monologue from the Lamda Acting anthology, the Trinity Acting anthology or the Festival Acting anthology from the appropriate level/grade.
Students may select a monologue of their own choice at the appropriate level from a published play, but this must be submitted for approval on the Google Form.
If students select their own monologue, they should follow the performance time guidelines as follows:
Level 1 & Level 2: 1 - 2 minutes.
Level 3 & Advanced: 2 - 3 minutes.
Group Size: Students may perform in groups of 2, 3, 4, or 5 actors.
Duologues (Group of 2):

Alternatively, you can select a duologue from a published play at the appropriate level, but it must be submitted for approval via the Google Form.
Groups of 3, 4, or 5:
Select your own group script extract from a published play. This must be submitted for approval via the Google Form.
Groups may include performers at different levels, but must be entered at the level of the oldest performer.

Level 1 & 2 - duologue: 2 - 4 minutes
Level 1 & 2 - group: 4 - 10 minutes
Level 3 & Advanced - duologue: 3 - 5 minutes
Level 3 & Advanced - group: 5 - 15 minutes
