All competitors must be in full time education and the name of the school mentioned on the application form. We encourage competitors who are prepared by private teachers to enter, however, please ensure that the students’ place of full time education is mentioned on the form.
All competitors are expected to be supervised by a teacher or responsible adult throughout the event.
Please ensure that the class entered is the current ability of the performer.
Students may enter more than one category but must put down each as a separate entry. In the case of multiple entries, a separate fee is payable for each entry.
If there are less than 4 entries in any level, the organisers reserve the right to merge them with another class. This may result in a change of day for the competitors.
Routine: Style of dance, choreography and music choice is at the discretion of the performer.
Age limit: Soloists must adhere to the age limit within the level entered.
Dancers must adhere to the timing requirements
Minimum 1 minute
Maximum 1:30 minutes
Music & Choreography: All aspects of a performance or routine, including choreography, music selection and outfitting (dance uniforms or costumes), should be suitable for family viewing and listening.
Routine: Style of dance, choreography and music choice is at the discretion of the performer.
Age limit: Students must enter the category that corresponds to the age of the oldest member in their duo/trio or group.
Dancers must adhere to the following timing requirements:

Maximum 3 minutes

Further guidance
Students should wear suitable dance attire to allow for freedom of movement or they may wear a simple costume to enhance their performance.
Simple props may be used throughout the routine.
A lighting state of natural general cover will be provided. No other lighting changes are permitted.
Music choices must be in MP3 format, on a memory stick and operated through the PA system by your teacher / adult supervisor.
