Welcome to the Music section of our Performing Arts Festival. This year, we continue to offer solo classes in Piano, Voice, Instrumental and Rock and Pop at all levels. We will also have our Primary and Secondary Ensembles as well as the Rock and Pop Ensemble competitions.
Solo performances will include a wide range of instruments and styles for Rock and Pop. In our 4 levels we will hear Rock and Pop singers, electric guitarists, bass guitarists, drummers and keyboard players. This celebration of music is extremely popuar and attracts a large audience.
Group performances bring together the collaborative spirit and team work of our musicians. We have a large variety of ensembles for instruments, voices and Rock and Pop bands that compete in a friendly, encouraging environment. There are two days of ensembles catering for Primary and Secondary ages.
The standard of performance we receive from this category is most impressive and credit is due to the large amount of one to one music specialists that we have in Bahrain who nuture and develop our young musicians. This year the winners of each category will be invited to perform their winning piece at the Gala Concert, where they will also be presented with their trophy.
Performers should perform one piece which must be taken from the Trinity or ABRSM Syllabus. All accompaniment shall be acoustic with the exception of Trinity Drum kit and Percussion pieces (Not Rock and Pop) , where a backing track will be permitted.
