Calling Model UN members or those interested in Model United Nations. Model UN will be meeting every Thursday before and after school in D203 to prepare for our competition on November 3 in Austin. 

AP Exam Registration for Fall & All Year Courses

AP students must register now if you want to take an AP exam this May.  The registration deadline is October 31st at 3:35 pm.  All registrations and payments for fall and all year courses must be complete BEFORE 3:35 pm.  See the MHS website for more information.

Did you know? Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating and paying tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched  our nation and society. 

The Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica wants to invite you to celebrate with us  Hispanic Heritage Month with a Trivia Game. The first student who responds with all the correct answers will be the winner of a $10 chickfila gift card. Look for the poster with a qr code in our main campus library and M9 to participate. The winner will be announced every Friday during Hispanic Heritage Month. 

The Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, October 12th from 8:00 – 11:00 pm in the cafeteria on the Main Campus. The dress is Semi-formal.

Presale tickets will be sold online for $25 each beginning Monday, September

29th and will close at 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, October 10th. Students will

check in at the door with their Student ID. No actual ticket is needed.

Tickets will also be sold at the door for $40 each to Marcus students only. (cash

or check only). Students must show their student ID to purchase a ticket.  If you plan to bring a guest from another school, you must fill out the form for prior approval.  All information can be found on the Marcus website.  Please see Mrs. Karbs in S121 with questions.

Junior World Affairs Council is meeting after school on Monday, October 6 in D203. 

Friday, October 3rd is the last day to join Science National Honor Society.  Information is posted outside of A208.  Questions?  See Mr. Hinsley in A208.

This Friday is Pink Out!  Make sure to show your school spirit and dress up!
