If you are interested in joining the National English Honor Society, just grab a membership contract in front of Mr. Epler's room (W204) and attend our first meeting on September 9th at 3:45 in the library. Please remember: even returning members will have to fill out a contract and attend the meeting in order to maintain their membership. We hope to see you there!

If you are a junior and are interested in taking this exam, on Oct. 22nd, please look under Campus News on the MHS website for the registration link and exam information. The exam fee is $15 and registration closes on Sept. 5th at 3:35 pm.

Representatives from Oklahoma State University will be visiting Marcus High School on Wednesday, September 4th. They will host an informational session during the end of 2nd period and Marauder Time, followed by a Q&A session during all lunch periods. All grade levels are welcome to attend the informational session. To sign up, please visit the Marcus Counseling Website and select “College Visits” from the drop-down menu. The Interact Rotary Club is starting to meet again! The purpose of this club is to help students take leadership roles in local & international service projects. If you are interested in robotics or are considering a career in engineering or computer science, but don’t have time for a club, consider joining the Marcus Minions robotics team Intern Program. This will be a noncommittal, flexible way to learn engineering concepts and build your resume. The interest meeting will be held on Thursday, August 28 after school in the Marcus Roboplex. We hope we see you there!

Art Club is open to all students at Marcus but we are setting a limit of 50 students this school year. We will meet on Thursdays after school in Rm A112 - I hope to see you there.
Just a reminder students: If you have not picked up their new RED background IDs, please pick them up in your attendance office asap. Beginning Monday, Aug 25th, IDs will be enforced when entering campus, and students will need their new RED background ID on throughout the school day.

Good morning Marcus students!
For any students that have not picked up their new RED background IDs, please pick them up in your attendance office asap. Beginning Monday, Aug 25th, IDs will be enforced when entering campus, and students will need their new RED background ID on throughout the school day.

Debate meetings will be on Tuesdays from 3:45 to 4:45 in W129. Tuesday, 8/19, will be for officers only. Regular meetings will begin on Tuesday, 8/26. If you are interested in Debate, join us at one of the regular meetings to learn more.
If you are interested in business or marketing, consider checking out DECA. Our first DECA meeting of the 25-26 school year is this Wednesday, August 20 at 7:45 or 3:45 in room S117. Contact Mrs. Day if you have any questions.

If you did not not pick up your ID last week, there is still an opportunity today at lunch to pick it up!
As a reminder, this week tardies count and consequences for phones have begun as well. We had a great week last week and we are so proud of you Marauders!
