Description of job shadowing: 

You will learn about the design process of infrastructure projects you use and see every day around you. From going into the field with Land Surveyors to learn how they acquire data of existing conditions by using tools such as drones, laser scanners, and GPS to a simple tape measure. You will see how Land Surveyors make digital models of the Earth's surface and improvements upon it for Engineers to use in design. Then you will learn how a Civil Engineer designs roads, bridges, subdivisions, etc... by using CAD and other digital drafting tools.
