On January 24, NJAGC Members and Gifted Advocates Testify at the Statehouse in support of Bill A4710, Strengthening Gifted and Talented Education Act. The bill was unanimously approved by the Education Committee, and clarifies what is already in Administrative Code.
“We advocate for our students every day in our classrooms, in our schools, and in the community,” said NJAGC Advocacy Vice President Roberta Braverman. “One group of students has often been overlooked in New Jersey. Parents and educators are working together to address the problems affecting the equity and access to quality gifted education services in schools across our state.”
The Hudson County Gifted and Talented Consortium forum provides education and support for teachers, administrators, and coordinators working in gifted and talented education. Monthly meetings take place and provide the opportunity to share information and further their own professional development.
