As a Language Arts/Reading teacher, I have to say this book is awesome! Nick, a soccer star of his grade, deals with junior high issues and his parents splitting up. Nick's father wrote a dictionary that Nick is forced to read and therefore, he has a fantastic vocabulary. The new girl of his dreams loves to read and Nick finds himself in a book club. This book is written in verse form and is a very fast read. What is Limerence? A.Major.Crush. Who has a limerence on who? What is a "malaproprism"? - It'a a boy thing - read and see.
