As part of our Citizenship week, we walked around the local community to see what we would like our local councillor to improve. We saw lots of litter and broken glass, as well as overflowing bins and cracks on the pavement. We also spoke to local shopkeepers and residents about what they like about living in about Canning Town and what they would like to change. We are using our “Right to be Heard” as a way to use our voices to make a difference.

We have been exploring and investigating rocks and soils in Science. We collected some rocks from Forest School and looked at their properties to see if they were sedimentary, metamorphic or other types.

Year 4 have been leaning about decomposition and debugging when coding in computing and have started a unit on the digestive system in science.
