Dear Parents and Carers,
A very happy New Year to you all. I do hope that 2023 brings you plenty of blessings.
We are delighted to share with you our Ofsted Report Click here . It was wonderful to have validation from Ofsted that we are doing the very best for our children and that they recognised the exceptional hard work of all of our staff and pupils, alongside your support. You will see from the report that we have been graded as Outstanding in all areas. To put our grading into context, the latest figures available on the Government website, shows only 16% of Primary Schools are graded as Outstanding. Only 13% of previously Outstanding Schools inspected, retained the grading of Outstanding, of which we are one (data up to Dec 2021).

Important Reminders
Online Safety - it is essential that you monitor your child's use of the internet including apps on their phones. There are times when children are on platforms such as Snapchat, WhatsApp and others, when children can be exposed to inappropriate language and behaviour. You should ensure that your child knows who they are talking to/communicating with. Our advice would to not use apps that are not age appropriate.

Smart Watches are not permitted in school. Some watches have the facility to take photos and videos. We are unable to check all watches, but we need to ensure that all pupils and staff are kept safe. The easiest way to ensure the safety of all, is to not allow any smart watches in school so that inappropriate recording can't take place.
Hygiene advice - this is the time of year where there maybe headlice. Please take time to check yout child's hair from time to time and seek advice from your Pharmacy. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/head-lice-and-nits/
The school day starts at 8:50am. Please arrive in plenty of time so that your child is not late. Gate and classrooms are open from 8:30am.
Please do not park on the zig-zag lines at the zebra crossings, or on the double yellow lines around the entrances to the school. These parking restrictions are in place to keep everyone safe. Please also be mindful or parking on the curbs/pavements. The pavement is very narrow and these need to be kept clear for those who are walking.
