Year 5
Art - In Year 5 we have been learning about two mythical creatures from Japan called Kappa and Samebito.
In our art lessons we have learnt about a Japanese painter called Hokusai and we have recreated one of his masterpieces, the great wave, using sketching, painting and collage skills. We have also created our own versions of Kappas and 3D mythical creatures.
We also enjoyed visiting the art exhibition, we picked and evaluated our favourite artwork.
Sports Day - On Monday the 3rd of July we had fun at completing the different challenges set by Mr Lewis!
Year 6
Transition Day - Year 6 pupils from all of the Catholic Primary School, came together to celebrate the end of their time at Primary School and the beginning of their journey to Seconday School. We took part in team games, had a picnic and then celebrated Mass together.
