School vaccination rules are in effect for every school year. Students should be up-to-date, in the process of receiving vaccines, or have a valid exemption on file and a health inventory/emergency contact form will have to be submitted when school starts on the first day.

However, you will have 30 calendar days from the first day of school to provide the required up-to-date immunization record for your student IF a doctors appointment card is provided before or on the first day of school. No Exceptions.

If at the end of a 30 day period, a student has NOT received a subsequent dose of vaccine, the student is not in compliance and the school shall exclude the student from school attendance until the required dose is administered.

The label on medication must match with student full name and DOB.
Health Screenings
Health Screenings
All children enrolled in Texas schools must be screened for vision, hearing, acanthosis nigricans, and scoliosis.
Acanthosis screening: 1st,3rd,5th, and 7th grade level only.
Spinal screening: Only female students in 5th/7th grade level. Only male students in 8th grade level.
