Current and past research around the process of learning to read which includes developmental psychology, cognitive neuropsychology, developmental linguistics, and educational intervention come together in what is called the Science of Reading. State Support Team Region 6 aligns all literacy professional development to Ohio's Plan to Raise Literacy Achievement which encompasses the continuum for all learners in emergent, early, conventional, and adolescent literacy. This section provides information on upcoming professional learning opportunities.
