Opportunities in this section focus on improving outcomes for young children, including those with diverse needs. Our professional development provides support in Inclusive Instruction (including special education rules), Early Literacy, School Climate, and Teaching & Learning using the framework of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). These learning opportunities are to build the capacity of those who work with children Preschool through Kindergarten.

Communities of Practice
Communities of Practice
Members of a Community of Practice (CoP) gather virtually and/or in-person for joint problem solving, sharing of information, documenting projects, site visits, etc. The group decides on the frequency and duration of their meetings. They use qualitative and quantitative data to measure how members are changing their practice and improving performance as a result. The SST will not facilitate, present content or train the group. Our role is to help the CoP organize the group initially, understand a Community of Practice, host virtual meetings if necessary and build the group's capacity to operate on its own.
