The purpose of this course is to help teachers include research-based, high-yield instructional strategies (HYIS) and supporting activities in the regular and systematic improvement of classroom learning processes following learning in the Continuous Classroom Improvement course.
Initial Outcomes:
By the end of the asynchronous learning, 100% of participants in HYIS professional learning will rate the quality of the Professional Learning as average or above and agree or strongly agree to apply and student impact questions as measured by Professional Learning event feedback/evaluation form in KickUp.
By the end of the asynchronous learning, 100% of participants will reflect on their learning of the HYIS course content and submit a plan for including HYIS in classroom PDSA cycles as measured by an exit quiz.
Intermediate Outcome:
Following a coaching conversation around the implementation of the submitted PDSA cycle, 90% of course participants will have a strategy bank posted/accessible to students that includes differentiated HYIS for a variety of learners aligned to the learning target that have led to student growth based on instructional data as evidenced by KickUp log data
