What is a Wellness Center?
Wellness centers on high school campuses provide increased early interventions for students experiencing social-emotional or mental health challenges that may affect their classroom learning ability. Students can participate in various services, including short "reset breaks," mental health counseling, support groups, community resources, self-efficacy skills, self-care supplies, and more. Wellness services provided to students are free and confidential. We are located at the front of campus in the administration building.
The Wellness Center provides culturally competent services in a confidential, nonjudgmental space with professionals dedicated to improving all students' health, well-being, and educational outcomes.
Anyone can refer a student to the Wellness Center by contacting the student's counselor or the wellness center coordinator directly via email.
