Hello Vista Grande Falcons,
Community Power & Gratitude 🌟
What an incredible demonstration of community strength this past week! A heartfelt thank you to every family for your remarkable flexibility and support as we faced two unexpected mornings without power. We're grateful the lights were back on before the morning bell, and we appreciate the district's swift response in ensuring our campus is ready to roll when emergencies arise.
We ended the week on a truly cozy and memorable note! The PJs and Small Stuffies Day was a huge success. Many classrooms embraced the moment, turning off the lights to give students a chance to enjoy a unique learning environment where the soft glow of flashlights illuminated their work and reading. It was a fun reminder that learning doesn't need to stop when the power goes out!
The crisp fall weather is officially upon us, signaling the start of a very full and exciting month here at Vista Grande! Get ready to dive into some of our most beloved traditions. Please mark your calendars and see below for all the important details regarding the VG Carnival on Saturday, October 18th and our highly anticipated VG Annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31st!

Students will have the choice to enjoy this opportunity if they choose to engage with the therapy dogs when they come to visit.
Students will be taught how to safely and respectfully interact with the dogs. If you have any specific concerns about the dog's presence on campus, please feel free to contact me directly.
