Join us for One WISH to Unite (Wellness, Identity, Self-Reflection & Hope). Students will have the opportunity to attend this day-long retreat designed for Black students to discuss identity, belonging, mental health & wellness, as well as other associated topics. We are proud to open this event to ALL students throughout Marin County.  Schools are responsible for providing student transportation to the event. 

SAVE the DATE: February 28, 2024, from 9:30-2:30 PM. Lunch will be provided.

BLACK STUDENT UNION SUMMIT
Hosted by Terra Linda High School Wellness Center & the Black Student Union. Join us to discuss your schools' Black Student Union! If you do not have a BSU, this is the event to attend. Learn about what is happening across Marin County in support of Black students, and how to bring a BSU to your campus! Schools are responsible to provide student transportation to the event.

Project Avary

SRCS Wellness has partnered with Project Avary, a local organization and national leader in supporting children who are impacted by incarceration. Project Avary helps children heal from the impacts of having a parent in prison. They focus on surrounding youth with a long-term, supportive community of peer and adult mentors and empowering them with leadership development skills so they can break free from generational cycles of trauma and incarceration.

Project Avary Comes to TLHS!

English Language Development (ELD) x Wellness 101

SRCSs' Wellness Teams visited with the ELD classes to present "Wellness 101." This event increased newcomers' knowledge of how to access supportive services on campus. 

Phoebe Smith, MPH, MA Edu., CPM

STUDENT UPSTANDER TRAINING x PHOEBE SMITH

Phoebe Smith is a veteran teacher of 18 years K-8 and a facilitator of special curricula related to health education, mental health & wellness, community building, mediation, and restorative practices for individuals and large groups. Phoebe is also a certified mediator through Community Boards San Francisco and the SEEDS Organization of Berkeley.

She currently works as a Restorative Practices Practitioner supporting academic communities K - 12 in RP integration. She is a highly recommended RP trainer and coach. Phoebe also has 6 years of experience working with organizations as a development process facilitator and consultant. Phoebe has earned a Masters in Public Health, Community Organization, and a Masters in Education, Curriculum Development. She specializes in coaching and guiding staff, students, organizations, and families through the restorative practices healing and community-building process.
