Recommended Equipment:
Reed case (these can be bought at the store or they can make their own out of an empty Altoids can. The case needs to allow air in so they can dry and not mold. So holes would need to be punched in the Altoids can and a paper towel folded up and put in the bottom of it.)
Seat strap (if their bassoon does not come with it)
Empty pill bottle (to use to soak their reeds)
2-3 reeds
Plastic Legere reeds are acceptable
