Every student is supported by their teachers, Form Tutor and Head of Year.
For students that require additional specialist behaviour support, the Behaviour Department works with students and their families to offer bespoke packages that aim to:
Improve working relationships in school
Help students be ready to learn every day
Improve motivation to be successful
Encourage students to be respectful and reflectful
Improve attendance and academic progress
Ensure our safeguarding and behaviour expectations are met
Create positive links with home and school
The support plans can range from Form Tutor monitoring to the Pastoral Support Plans and include:
Regular mentoring and wellbeing support
Close monitoring and communication with home
Working with the wider Inclusion Department and classroom teachers
Actioning appropriate interventions around students particular difficulties
A wide range of approaches to explore and understand the causes of behaviour
A solution focused approach
Close working with external agencies and professionals
