R3 - ‘Recognise, Reflect and Reset’
If a student finds modifying their behaviour difficult during lesson or social time and they are issued a C3, they are expected to attend R3. This referral is often for the remainder of the lesson or whilst further investigations into the behaviour has been completed.
Recognise that the behaviour is not in line with the Social and Lesson Routines
Reflect on the behaviour and, with support, understand how to improve
Reset. Students have the opportunity to return to lessons following the time in R3
R4 - ‘Recognise, Reflect, Reset and Restore’
R4 is the schools internal suspension space. Students are expected to attend here if they are involved in higher level behaviour incidents. This involves the student being removed from lessons and social times for either part or for the full day. Evaluation processes and reflection opportunities are provided so that students can improve their behaviour.
