I-Ready - Adaptive diagnostic online assessments for both Reading and Math are taken two or three times a year to check progress in learning. Once the diagnostic has been completed, individualized online lessons are available. (See iReady page of this website for more information.)
Milestones - Benchmark milestones are taken in I-Ready each quarter to assess "I CAN" mastery in both English Language Arts and Math for grade 3-8.
Writing Samples - Students are asked to complete formal writing prompts throughout the year. Prompts and performance tasks are found in the "ELA Writing Prompts and Performance Tasks" Course in your student's Canvas course.
Portfolios- One sample from each learning area (ELA, Math, Science, History, Life Skills, Special Interest) collected each semester. (See Portfolios page of this website for more information.)
CAASPP (Smarter Balanced Assessment) - California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress. California statewide student assessment test given over a 4 day period to students in grades 3-8 and 10-11, proctored at testing sites in May. (See CAASPP page of this website for more information.)
