Have you heard of Jean Doyle?

This world-famous sculptress is a friend of Springfield! We are very excited to tell you that we have commissioned a sculpture from her to place in our garden as part of our 150th celebrations. The sculpture will be of two Springfield girls sitting on a bench with a dog at their feet. The work has begun in our Art Centre. Jean is working with Dale McRitchie, our potter, together with our Art teachers and a small group of our senior pupils and a past pupil. Watch this space for more news in coming weeks!
