Vicar General Fr Peter John Pearson

Mass for the Senior School was celebrated by Vicar General Fr Peter John Pearson. His homily inspired, challenged, uplifted and gave us a sense of inner peace. He shared the story of Glenn Cunningham who through remarkable circumstances persevered to change his mental narrative given to him due to severe health challenges, thereby pushing him to penetrate barriers while seeking to reach his inherent potential. Fr Peter John thus challenged us all to strive to attain our goals irrespective of the circumstances which could limit our pursuit of achieving them. God is our guide and protector.

We come to do Your will.
On Sunday the new Pastoral Plan for the Catholic Church in South Africa was launched at Regina Mundi Church in Soweto. Its emphasis is on Evangelisation which serves God, Humanity and Creation and it sets the Church in a new direction, rooted in the Gospel and seeking the guidance of the Spirit in what we do.
Let us pray for Springfield, that the Spirit may be here amongst us to guide us in thought and word, that we may really listen and respond to one another.
We pray that this community may unite in its common purpose of serving God through each other.
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,
