Pop Music - Voice Lessons
During the second half of last year the Music Department ran a Pop Music vocal programme. Last year it was a pilot project which was offered free of charge. It will now be subject to fees. Pop Music can be taught in groups of up to 3, which might be preferable in terms of cost.
Should you wish for your daughter to continue with these lessons, please fill in a music application form available at the Senior School Office.
Financial Support:
Limited financial support is available for Music lessons to those who need it for the study of an instrument. It should not be the case that girls who wish to learn music are prevented by the cost. Please contact Mr Bentley if you would like to discuss this further.
- Springfield Convent Choir Tour 2020 Fundraiser Concert
If you want to be among the many enjoying an awesome fundraiser concert to be held in Springfield Convent Senior School’s gardens, diarise Saturday 15th of February 2020 and visit Quicket to book tickets to see A Tribute to ABBA by Mike & the Harmonix, with special guest appearances by “Michael Jackson”, “Tina Turner”, “Bob Marley”, “The Beatles” and “Queen”.
The concert is being held in aid of the Senior School’s Choir Tour to Europe in March and is definitely one not to be missed.
Tickets: only R150 for adults, R80 for scholars and under 10s are free of charge. Tickets on sale now through Quicket
Gates open: 3.30pm
Band performs: 5 to 7pm
What to bring: your own picnic and refreshments along with picnic blanket/camp chairs etc.
