HeIlo Spencer County Families! Everyone knows me as Nurse Cindy. I have been blessed to serve the children, families, and staff of Spencer County Schools for many years. I am the first full time RN that was hired in our school district and now serve as the District Health Coordinator and SCES school nurse. I have been an RN for well over 30 years and am a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. I received my National Board Certification for School Nurses in 2015.
I have been married to my husband Doug for over 30 years. We have 2 wonderful adult children that I am extremely proud of. Megan is my oldest, she is an Emergency Room Nurse and Joe who works at UPS.

Hello Spencer County students and families. I am Renee Temple, the Taylorsville Elementary School Nurse. I have been a nurse since 2011 with the majority of my nursing background in geriatrics, however, I love children and the transition to school nursing has been amazing! I am very excited to be working with such a great group of leaders and students here at TES!
My husband, Jeremy, and I live here in Spencer County. Together we have 6 children, ranging from 9 to 26, that have all attended Spencer County Schools. Our youngest, Allie, is currently a student at Spencer County Elementary. We also have one granddaughter and a grandbaby on the way!

Hello Spencer County students and families. I am Joy Osborne, the Spencer County Middle School Nurse. My whole nursing background has been Pediatrics and a few years with Home Health, working with all ages newborn to elderly adults. I am very excited to be closer to home working with a great team of leaders and a great group of children.
My husband and I are high school sweethearts originally from Bardstown, Ky. We have 2 wonderful children- Kaleb and Braylee. In our spare time we love to be out on the lake- fishing, camping, swimming and tubing.
Working with children is what I love to do, and it is a pleasure to be working with the children of Spencer County.

Hello! I am so excited to be joining SCHS as the school nurse this year! This is my first year as a school nurse, but I am a proud SCHS Class of 2018 alumna. I have been a nurse since 2023, with a nursing background in both med-surg and pediatrics. I enjoy working with students of all ages, and I am excited to be back at SCHS in a different role, serving and caring for the students and staff of our school community. Having lived in Spencer County for the majority of my life, I truly love our small community and the sense of connection that comes with it.
Outside of school, I am a mom to one daughter, who keeps me very busy and brings so much joy to my life. I look forward to getting to know the students and staff, supporting their health and well-being, and being able to watch our students learn, grow, and succeed.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to give back to the school that was once such a big part of my own journey.
