New changes to over-the-counter medications. Starting July 1, 2025: ***If your child needs any over-the-counter medication such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Allergy medications, Aleve, etc. Parent/Guardian needs to complete their portion, and the student's physician/medical provider will also be required to sign as well. KY Board of Nursing has changed the guidelines for over-the-counter medications; we will no longer be able to administer over-the counter medications without the Physicians/Medical Provider's signature.
SCPS HEALTH SERVICES MISSION STATEMENT

We will monitor health status and identify and address the unmet needs of students, staff, and families. We will build public and private partnerships to ensure quality, compassionate nursing services that are effective, culturally appropriate, and responsive to the diverse and changing needs of students and their communities.
*Students must be fever and vomiting free for 24-hours without the aid of medication to return to school.
