Senior Parents and seniors are invited to learn about the financial aid process. A guest speaker will present on the FAFSA process. Information will also be offered on what students will need for post-secondary planning (college applications, scholarship searches, financial aid process, etc.).
Each grade will have a day during the registration "week" to register for courses for the next school year. A presentation will be delivered during the registration time to help students navigate the course registration process, see new course offerings, and prepare for graduation requirements.

8th grade students and parents are invited to attend this event to learn all about what Spearfish High School has to offer, ask questions about the high school experience for peer leaders, tour the buildings, and get the chance to meet some faculty.

Clubs and organizations are a great way for students to be involved, become integrated into the school system beyond the general classroom, and form a bond with a group of friends. Spearfish High School offers a number of different clubs and organizations for students. These clubs and organizations have a faculty or staff sponsor that assists with planning meetings, providing a space to meet, and organizing potential competitions. All high school students are welcome to join any clubs or organizations at Spearfish High School. Information regarding club or organization meetings can be found on posters around the school and during the morning announcements.
