AP Tests will be delivered through the Bluebook Testing Application
Spearfish High School currently offers 4 courses under the Advanced Placement (AP) guidelines: AP Language & Composition, AP United States History, AP Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus
*Computer Science Principles utilizes AP resources to prepare students for the AP Computer Science Principles Exam
Students are able to take any AP test that they want, the student is responsible for all test costs.
Some AP courses at Spearfish High School have prerequisites or GPA requirements, these requirements can be found in the course registration handbook.

Biology- Monday, May 3rd, 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm
United States Government & Politics- Tuesday, May 4th, 8:00 am - 11:30 am
World History: Modern- Thursday, May 6th, 8:00 am -11:30 am
French Language and Culture- Thursday, May 6th, 8:00 am -11:30 am
United States History- Friday, May 7th, 8:00 am -11:30 am
Calculus AB- Monday, May 10th, 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Precalculus- Tuesday, May 11th, 8:00 am - 11:30 am
English Language & Composition- Wednesday, May 12th, 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Computer Science Principles- Friday, May 14, 8:00 am - 11:30 am

AP test registration and payment is completed in late October while the tests are in May.
AP Tests will be $99, bring payment to Spearfish High School Counseling Office by Friday, October 30th at 3:00 pm (make checks payable to SHS).
Students can late register between January 4th - March 10th for an additional fee of $40
