AP Tests will be delivered through the Bluebook Testing Application
Spearfish High School currently offers 2 courses under the Advanced Placement (AP) guidelines: AP Language & Composition and AP United States History
*Computer Science Principles utilizes AP resources to prepare students for the AP Computer Science Principles Exam
Students are able to take any AP test that they want, the student is responsible for all test costs.
Some AP courses at Spearfish High School have prerequisites or GPA requirements, these requirements can be found in the course registration handbook.

Biology- Monday, May 4th; 8:00 am - 11:30 am
United States Government & Politics- Tuesday, May 5th; 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm
World History: Modern- Thursday, May 7th; 8:00 am - 11:30 am
United States History- Friday, May 8th; 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Calculus AB- Monday, May 11th; 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Precalculus- Tuesday, May 12th; 8:00 am - 11:30 am
French Language and Culture- Tuesday, May 12th; 8:00 am - 11:30 am
English Language & Composition- Wednesday, May 13th; 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Computer Science Principles- Thursday, May 14th; 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm

AP test registration and payment is completed in late October while the tests are in May.
AP Tests will be $99, bring payment to Spearfish High School Counseling Office by Friday, October 31st at 3:00 pm (make checks payable to SHS).
Students can late register between January 3rd - March 15th for an additional fee of $40
