Salman Bridge, Haifa
A 440m long bridge carries dual carriageway of 4 lanes, total width 20m.
The deck consists of U shaped pre-fabricated pre-stressed concrete girders, and a C.I.P reinforced concrete slab, cast upon the pre-fabricated R.C planks.
The deck is continuous over the entire length, while expansion joints are located only at both its ends. One of the abutments is a hollow frame structure.
To minimize the effects of differential settlements due to consolidation of clays under the embankments at the bridge’s approaches, a transition deck of 15m span was built, spanning as an additional simple span supported on the rigid abutment and on the flexible embankments.

La Guardia Bridge

Jabotinsky Bridge (Modayi), Tel Aviv
A six span bridge (spans vary between 25-33m) of total bridging area app. 4,500 sqm. crosses over the Ayalon Freeway, Tel Aviv central railway station platforms, and the Ayalon Canal.
Deck consists of precast, pre-tensioned, trapezoidal concrete channel girders and C.I.P top slab, cast upon reinforced concrete precast panels, on top of girders, to from an integral continuous deck running along the entire length of the bridge . Continuity of deck is achieved by mild reinforcement steel of slab.
One abutment is a hollow framed reinforced concrete structure, and an urban service road is passing through it.
Construction was carried out over the highly congested traffic of the Ayalon Freeway, the railway station platforms, and over rail activity, avoiding any traffic detours delays or inconveniences.
