Road No.2 - Yakum , Rishpon , Udim
Three pedestrian bridges crossing the Tel-Aviv - Haifa highway at a rural environment, using prefabricated reinforced concrete components for piers, with C shape spandrel beams, (pre-fabricated and pre-stressed), up to 29m span, and prefabricated concrete planks with C.I.P topping, for deck..
Construction works were executed above the highway without interfering traffic flow.
Total cost app. 500,000 $.
Ganey HaTaarucha Bridge
A pedestrian overpass near the exhibition area of Tel Aviv, designed as a 3D frame structure made of prefabricated components.
The triangles consist of prefabricated R.C columns and stored precast pre-stressed (post-tension) girders, connected by C.I.P round shape cross beams, and corner concreting.
The deck is composed of hollow core precast and pre-tensioned concrete units, placed one by one, and a C.I.P concrete topping on top, to create a continuous deck that “flows” between the triangle-like frames.
Lateral rigidity is achieved by the H frame at the road median. Spiral ramps are cast in place.
