He was awarded Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze stars, the Kuwait Liberation Medal along with National Defense Medal, Parachutist Badge, Army Achievement Medal.
He graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University with an associate's in Criminal Justice and a master's degree in Administration.
Has acted as County Sheriff since 2010
