The Social and Emotional well-being of our students is important to everyone who works within Spartanburg County School District Six. This is evidenced by the fact that our Mission, Vision, and Belief Statements all have their foundation rooted in the knowledge that we need to provide a safe and nurturing environment where all stakeholders feel safe, valued, and respected.
Social-emotional learning (SEL) or Social-emotional behavior (SEB) is the process of developing the self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school, work, and life success.
The purpose of this flowchart is to assist our MTSS Teams in developing a plan for our students that are in need of social, emotional, of behavioral supports.
This process includes a Targeted Intervention Planner to assist our teams in determining the appropriate path for supporting our students.
For those students that are being served in Tier 2 or Tier 3 for SEL/SEB, all interventions will be documented in Panorama.
