Large Animals

The Large Animal Management class, a half year course for high school students, will be learning about Large Animals through using the Cornell Vet Science Curriculum.  In this course, students will discover the roles of large animals in society, how to care and manage several large animal species, and have an overview of the skeletal and digestive systems.

Some projects we will be doing this year: Domestication timelines, Temple Grandin Handling Procedures, and Reduced Fear Handling Chute Project (used with small animals).
