Intro to Agriculture (AFNR)

Students in the Introduction to Agriculture course are exposed to the CASE-AFNR (Agriculture, Foods, and Natural Resources) curriculum through a series of lessons and hands on activities.  In the introduction to the course, students will learn about FFA, the role it can have in their lives, and the roles that they can have in FFA.  We then move on to Lab Safety and how to measure properly.  Soils are up next, as we investigate different soil types and textures and investigate the soils in our own area.  Finally, we finish up with a brief study on plants and animals in agriculture.
